WARNING: This is a long one! Last night, I finished a freelance assignment but had the urge to continue putting my fingers to the keyboard.

My hair and people’s reaction to it over the past two weeks was on my mind… so I wrote about it. Then posted the link to Facebook.

The response to the post was unexpected but I’m pleased to know how many folks can relate to my experience and also how those who don’t share the same experience still feel me because there are aspects of their being that they are not always comfortable with. Friends and family commented. One of my friends even texted me about it.
